Saturday Word of the Day: Cygnet

*Cygnet: a young swan

The young girls prance and stretch. Practicing their pirouets along the dance floor.

“Clap clap” the instructor circles the room applauding their efforts. “Bravo, bravo my little cygnets!”

Some of the girls jump high, posing mid-air before starting to land. Whilst others practice curtsies using the bar at the side of the room.

“Ahh so graceful.”

In the center of the room one girl works through the moves for the first act of swan lake.

“Very good my cygnet but perhaps you should practice your pirouets some more.”

And so they dance continuously.
