*Desiccate: to become thoroughly dried or dried up

“I should have just left you their to desiccate, at least then you couldn’t have hurt my people.”

He chuckled at the girl’s remark, perhaps he should leave her to live and watch as the desert sun caused the corpses of her people to desiccate. Oh it was fun to be a lion in sheep’s clothing, praying on naivety.
