Saturday Word of the Day: Cloudburst

*Cloudburst: a sudden and very heavy rainfall 

A/N: Apologies for this being three days late.

There was no forecast for rain, there wasn’t meant to be any this week at all. And so the cloudburst was unexpected and unwanted by the town locals. With forecasts predicting clear skies none of the residents saw reason to carry an umbrella on hand that Sunday morning. 

And so when out of nowhere the skies opened and a downpour of water was unleashed upon the unsuspecting townsfolk there was a slew of curses.
