Saturday Word of the Day: Uptalk

A/N: Just a short one today.

*Uptalk: a rise in pitch at the end usually of a declarative sentence, especially if habitual.

“Where have you been?” There was that accusatory uptalk again; whenever Jamie came home Melinda would ask the same question. Why was she always so suspicious?
