Saturday Word of the Day: Sashay

*Sashay: to glide, move, or proceed easily or nonchalantly.

Everything came easily to Belinda, or at least it appeared to. There was a way about her, a light to her actions. Everyone loved to watch her sashay through the room.

No one expected her to be murdered, and certainly not so savagely. There was no grace, no calculation, it was simply a bloody mess. Her corpse was mangled, if she carried form into the afterlife she certainly wouldn’t sashay.
